**About Us**
BGC’s Quarries, based at The Lakes along The Great Southern Highway, produce more than 1,500,000 tonnes of crushed aggregate a year, and supply the raw material for the required concrete, roof tiles, block paving products, road construction projects, civil engineering and large commercial projects.

**The Opportunity**
Due to growth our team are seeking experienced a Crushing Plant Operator to join the BGC Quarries team located at The Lakes, roughly 30 minutes north-east of Midland.

This exciting opportunity is for weekend work only and includes day, night shifts or combination of the two.

**Your**
**role**
**will**
**include**:

- Operation of our Sytech computer program;
- Operating crushing plant in accordance with relevant safety documentation;
- Operational and production data is recorded on specified forms;
- Contributing to the upkeep of relevant machinery;
- Reporting breakdowns to the Crushing Leading Hand;
- Possible improvements to the crushing and screening process are identified and reported;
- Commitment to the continued improvement of site processes and compliance with the Quality Management System;
- A harmonious environment is promoted including team building activities;
**What we’ll love about you**
- Previous crushing experience would be an asset;
- Have mechanical knowledge and experience with general equipment maintenance;
- Capable of working extended shifts on Saturday and Sunday’s
- Capable of working independently when needed;
- Able to promote a positive and safe work environment in a physically demanding and fast paced work environment;
- Comfortable working outdoors, in extreme weather conditions,
- Knowledge of aggregate classification to help produce spec material through the crushing operation;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
