
Junior Change Coordinator

DXC Analytics and Engineering are currently seeking a motivated **Junior Change Coordinator** with change and release experience to join our team working for a major Federal government client. You will be part of a dynamic team working from a Canberra client site and be part of a small team conducting the day-to-day implementation of the change and release processes, ensuring:
- Preparation of changes to facilitate operational requirements
- Effective coordination of changes across a multi-vendor organisation
- Governance activities in accordance with the change and release process
- Strict adherence to Defence change and Release Policy
- Facilitation of change reviews and approvals
- Facilitation of the forward schedule of change and assessing scheduling impacts to avoid deployment conflicts
- Identifying and implementing Continual Service Improvements to the change and release process
- Commitment to change process adherence to align with Defence delivery methods and outcomes
**Secondary role functions**:
- Support the team in incident, problem, and service request fulfilment processes and operational requirements
**Essential criteria**:
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve deliverables and positive outcomes
- Strong presentation, engagement, and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Team player who can work as part of a team and independently with mínimal supervision
**Highly desirable but not essential skills and experience**:
- ITIL V3 or V4 certification or understanding of ITIL processes
- Understanding how change and release management processes integrate with the other ITIL processes
- Understanding of Defence ITSM processes
- Hands-on experience with the Service Manager or other service management tool
