**About the role**

We are looking for passionate, innovative and caring support workers to join our team on a permanent part-time basis.

Located mainly in the Rockingham area, Spearwood and Gosnells locations also available.

As a 4lifeskills support worker you will work with the people whom you support to identify activities through which they can increase their life skills for work, home, health and fun. On an ordinary day you would use our fleet vehicle to pick someone up from their home, support them to participate in community based activities which are aligned with their personal goals, and then return them home.

Although 4lifeskills support workers work autonomously at times, as valued team members, they are able to establish rapport with people with diverse needs, including people with disability who have complex support needs.

All 4lifeskills support workers are being provided a comprehensive training program covering core skills and knowledge needs. Other development opportunities are regularly available through secondment and internal promotion opportunities. Traineeships are also available for people with mínimal experience who would like a career in the industry.

**You must have**:

- Proof of eligibility to work in Australia
- "C" class WA drivers’ license
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- NDIS Supporting Effective Communication Module
- NDIS Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals Module

**Preferable**:

- Current Working with Children check
- Multi-lingual skills desirable
- Manual Handling Certificate (not older than 6 months)
- Medication Management (not older than 6 months)
- Mealtime Management (not older than 6 months)
- Epilepsy Management (not older than 6 months)
