Retirement Living Sales Manager

**Your New Role Looks Like This**:
As a Sales Manager for Retirement living you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that deliver a quality sales experience while driving sales targets for two of our Retirement Villages and our other retirement communities when required.
This role is pivotal in engaging with both current and prospective residents and their legal representatives to provide support with planning and transitions for the resident’s journey (enquiry to departure) ensuring the most suitable accommodation, care and service options are provided.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Establish pricing strategies to achieve retirement community sales targets inclusive of:
- Preparing and executing a dedicated sales plan for every retirement community listing across the precinct
- Leading open days and open for inspections
- Generating and qualifying sales leads
- Negotiating all contracts with perspective purchasers
- Monitor sales and referrals to ensure business growth targets are delivered, the customer experience is upheld and prepare comprehensive monthly reports on progress
- Prepare properties for sale inclusive of supporting refurbishments and property staging
- Upon resident uptake ensure all relevant information and contracts are prepared and executed in a timely manner and the resident experiences a seamless handover to site teams
- Engage with local communities to promote Australian Unity accommodation, care and service options and proactively follow up generated leads
- Work collaboratively with the Marketing team to structure and execute the marketing program
- Establish strategic partnerships/networks to drive business growth and generate new leads.
- Actively attend and represent AU at various expos and events as business needs demand, noting some of these occur on weekends
**About You**:
- Demonstrated understanding of Retirement Living
- Proven sales experience in a high trust service industry
- Marketing experience advantageous, but not essential
- Demonstrated ability to act with integrity and empathy at work
- Current understanding of state and federal legislative requirements for sales process and documentation
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to translate information to others
- Demonstrated ability to track and report on sales activities and outcomes
