Housekeeping Supervisor

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all guest rooms and public areas meet the hotel's cleanliness standards.
- Must be able to check the guest rooms in detail.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to maintain high performance and adherence to hotel policies.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas, addressing any deficiencies promptly.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
- Develop and maintain staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak periods.
- Collaborate with other departments to address guest needs and special requests efficiently.
- Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping services, ensuring swift resolution and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel procedures.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in housekeeping within a 5-star hotel or luxury hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficient in using housekeeping management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Subcontract
Pay: $26.00 - $39.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
