As a **Practice Manager** you’ll be benefiting from an experienced team, exceptional development, and opportunities to take you as far as you want to go; and that’s just to mention a few. Dental experience is obviously a bonus, but this role is also a great career step for Store Managers in retail and any other leadership roles that fit the criteria below.
- This opportunity is a permanent full-time role from Monday to Friday. We are conveniently located on High Street and have onsite all-day parking at the rear of the clinic on Thomson Street. We are located close to all the amenities the busy street has to offer including cafes and restaurants_
**The Heart of the role**:
- Coaching, leading & developing a high performing practice team in a positive environment for both staff and patients
- Assist with overall financial performance of the practice in line with the approved budget
- Maintain sterilisation, infection control standards and stock control
- Patient management; greeting and welcoming patients, answering all phone enquiries, making & confirming appointments; checking, processing & managing customer accounts
- General administration including processing payments using EFTPOS & HiCaps
- Proactively marketing your practice to drive patient numbers
- Effectively manage the recruitment & selection for all practice staff
**What you'll bring**:
- Prior business and people management experience essential
- Proven track record of strong organisational skills, administrative and time management
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, customer service skills and strong business acumen
- Understanding how to generate income and control costs
- Able to face into difficult conversations & deal promptly with issues when they arise
- Comfortable conversing with people from all walks of life, including dentists, patients, and your practice team
- Experienced in comprehending and managing the P&L for the practice
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, customer service skills and strong business acumen
- The ability to communicate proficiently in both English and Mandarin is highly desirable for this role
