**About our Team**
Supply Chain Branch (SCB) is an integrated team of military, APS and contractors who contribute to the JLC mission of enabling Australian Defence Force (ADF) operations and readiness through adaptive, effective and efficient military logistics.
SCB provides Defence-led warehousing, distribution, maintenance and support services via national and international logistics services contracts delivered by Industry Partners in support of ADF operations and activities.
While the number of logistics services contracts can vary according to what our Defence customers’ need, typically SCB manages around 13 contracts supporting Defence on a national and international basis. Our workforce is located in all states and territories across Australia, as well as internationally. The Directorate of Warehousing & Distribution Services supports SCB in achieving the above.

You will be accountable under broad direction to perform and achieve complex contract management tasks within an integrated workforce. You will need to work independently whilst contributing as an effective team member. You will also need to have sound interpersonal, communication, negotiation and liaison skills and understand the needs of our stakeholders to produce outcomes and results in support of contractual obligations.
Skills, experience and attributes required include:
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and sustain productive relationships with others both across the branch and externally.
- Strong written communication skills for range of documentation types for stakeholders, both within and external to Defence.
- Possess a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of Commonwealth Procurement Rules and Policies.

- Demonstrated ability to manage allocated resources, set work area priorities, manage workflows, developing strategies and evaluating business outcomes.
- An ability to work constructively under limited direction.
- Outcome-focused mindset with an ability to get practical results.
- Be a team player and be adaptable, supportive and considerate with all staff.
