**Your new role**
As the Marketing Assistant, you will report to the Communications Manager and will assist the Marketing Team. You will provide support to the implementation of previously developed strategies and assist in the coordination of advertising, marketing material and social media posts.

You will also provide administrative support in a timely and effective manner where appropriate. Your excellent communication skills will assist when liaising with both internal and external stakeholders and will support your team with their day-to-day responsibilities.

This newly created position is a part time opportunity of 30 hours per week and is a 6-month temporary contract with the possibility of extension.

**What you'll need to succeed**
This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has recently graduated from a relevant field and looking to gain further experience in the marketing industry. To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a keen eye for detail
- The ability to create and maintain relationships
- Experience in systems such as Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms
- The ability to work autonomously and be support to the marketing team
- A can-do attitude and eagerness to further develop your skills
- Experience in a not-for-profit or volunteer setting will be favoured
- A current National Police Check, double covid vaccinations and Working with Children’s Check are required for this role
