**Position Summary**:
A vacancy exists in the above unit for a highly motivated Telehealth and Innovation Manager** **with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team. Our progressive and innovative team offers development opportunities for our staff and a caring environment for the delivery of high quality patient centred care. The successful applicant will be responsible for the operational management and leadership of this service in partnership with participating rural local health districts.

St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney operate an Alcohol & Drug Telehealth Service in collaboration with rural local health districts. The Alcohol & Drug Telehealth Service provides addiction specialist care and clinical support via videoconferencing/telehealth. St Vincent’s currently partner with five rural health agencies, broadening the reach of high quality addiction care and improving access to treatment for individuals affected by substance use dependence living in rural and remote areas.

The role will also lead and act in a consulting capacity to other ADS managers undertaking service improvement projects concerned with the provision of value based healthcare. The incumbent will be required to provide expert advice and support on project management, change management and service redesign methodologies, particularly but not limited to ADS projects where technology and/or telehealth are being used as an enabler for change. The role thereby supports the development of project management, innovation and change management skill development across the ADS.

The incumbent will also take an active role in the implementation and delivery of the Clinical Care Standards for AOD Sector at St Vincent’s. The incumbent must possess demonstrated experience in clinical program design/delivery, project management, change management, stakeholder management, be able solve complex business problems, have the capacity to manage multiple projects/partners concurrently, plus possess superior communication and IT skills.

1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia

2. Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health related field and project management experience, including experience in project planning, evaluation and reporting.

4. Demonstrated experience in improving patient outcomes and standards of care using research or quality improvement methodology.

5. Demonstrated high level organisational, time management and planning skills including the ability to manage conflicting priorities and complete several tasks concurrently, maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

6. Proven strategic, analytical and problem solving skills and a demonstrated understanding of the service improvement and evaluation processes.

7. Advanced writing, communication and negotiation skills including the ability to prepare project documentations, system requirements, flowcharts, draft high level advice and other communications.
