Job Description:
Position Summary
Epiq’s Cyber Incident Response group is responsible for managing and overseeing review of data exfiltrated in cyber incidents to identify, extract, and report on the individuals whose personal identifying information (PII) and protected health information (PHI) were compromised. The Cyber Analyst Programmer is responsible for a wide range of tasks to support corporations & organizations suffering from a Data Breach in Australia. The Cyber Analyst Programmer will analyze the scope of a data breach, create technical solutions to assist in identifying breached elements, and support law firms/insurers in providing relevant Data Breach services. The Cyber Analyst Programmer must be consultative and able to interface with clients and partners, including, corporations, law firms, forensics vendors, and insurers. Technological proficiency is critical and a willingness to continually grow technical aptitude is required. In addition, this position will also be responsible for developing proprietary software, managing special projects, and supporting in-region business requirements when applicable.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyze the scope of a data breach and evaluate client requirements
- Produce plans, documentation, and training to support data breach programs & projects
- Create technical solutions to identify and extract breached elements
- Maintain systems supporting data breach solutions in Australia, including databases & third-party software
- Develop proprietary software to assist in analyzing, extracting, or managing a data breach
- Support corporations & organizations suffering from a data breach
- Support law firms & insurers in providing relevant remedial services
- Consult and interface with customers & partners on data breach solutions
- Provide quality & cost reporting on data breach programs & projects
- Operate with colleagues in a world-wide business across time-zones & continents
- Manage other special projects as defined by management
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in the Cyber Incident Response industry
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Relativity software
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Canopy software
- Minimum of 2 years working in a global organization with teams in at least 3 continents
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Python in a scripting or programming capacity
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with VBA in a scripting or programming capacity
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with Epiq Discovery software
- Must have direct experience working with Data Breach Analysis & Extraction protocols
