Disability Support Worker

Our Client is a mature female who loves world travel. She enjoys watching old British TV shows and reminiscing about the “good old days”. She loves to sing and takes pride in having a clean, tidy home. The ideal Support Worker for our Client is someone who has a positive and encouraging nature and enjoys cleaning. Our Client has requested female support workers, however all applicants will be reviewed and considered for other Clients.

The role will involve support with domestic tasks around the home and meal preparation.

We are looking for a Disability Support Worker who can assist on **Mondays from 4pm-10:15pm** with potential to pick up additional shifts in the future.

**Our base hourly rate for weekday daytime is $31.96/hr. Our weekday evening rate is $34.51/hr. Please note pay rates are set and not negotiable.**

You will have support in your role via a comprehensive care plan and support from our awesome Support Specialist team.

- **Your key responsibilities & accountabilities **_
- To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered
- Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist
- Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Clients needs
- Provide support to our Clients as required
- Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner
- Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required
- Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients
- To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals

- Resonate with the role description above
- Hold NDIS worker screening or yellow card (or willingness to obtain)
- Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card
- Hold Certificate III in disability or related fields (preferred)
- Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
- Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives
- Hold a police check or be willing to obtain

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 - $39.99 per hour
