**Description**
Our Hotel Operations team is responsible for providing exceptional guest service in line with our Buller Way philosophy, while maintaining a safe and respectful working environment. A ‘hands on’ approach is required as is to work as part of a team to provide efficient service.
Night Audit staff are also responsible for effective daily trading reconciliations including preparation of daily reports and statistics, and ensuring smooth and efficient running of the Hotel’s overnight operation
As a member of our Hotels Reception team your primary role will be to welcome and efficiently check-in/check-out our hotel guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. Guest Service Agents will require excellent knowledge of the resort, its products and services (or the ability to quickly acquire such knowledge).
Key accountabilities of this role encompass duties that principally relate to the job purpose and may include other duties that are incidental or peripheral to the job purpose.
**Your responsibilities will include**:

Providing efficient service for guest registration and departure
- Maintaining guest accounts and providing accurate and helpful information
- Responding promptly to all guests' requests, enquiries and complaints
- Attending to all incoming calls via the switchboard in a professional and polite manner
- Constantly striving to provide exceptional customer satisfaction
- Maintenance of strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety
- Processing and reconciling EFTPOS/cash and online payments according to procedure and responsibly handling the signed over float to avoid outages
- Efficiently communicating with all shifts and departments to ensure all information is passed on promptly
- Adherence to all credit procedures and accounting procedures as they pertain to check-in and check-out

**We're looking for people with**:

- Previous experience in a guest service role
- Impeccable phone manner
- Previous experience with cash/card (EFTPOS) handling and balancing
- Excellent knowledge of the resort, its products and service (or the ability to acquire such knowledge)
- The ability to work unsupervised and to be a team player
- Have a cheerful personality
- The ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment and maintain a positive attitude
- Genuine willingness to help people
- Possess a friendly and positive attitude
- High level of computer skills
