We are seeking an experienced and qualified trainer to deliver the CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations course in NSW.
As a Security Operations Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in educating and enhancing the skills of our students. Your expertise will contribute to elevating our students’ capabilities in handling diverse security challenges effectively.
**Qualifications & Requirements**:
- Hold the relevant subclass of NSW Security Licence for the area you intend to deliver and assess.
- Demonstrate ongoing compliance with all conditions imposed on your NSW Security Licence.
- Demonstrate vocational (industry) competencies at least to the level you will be delivering and assessing.
- Show evidence of ongoing development of VET knowledge and skills, maintaining industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
- Successfully address all aspects of the Approved Trainer Application and Assessment as required by ALIT.
- Hold a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or an equivalent qualification).
- Relevant Industry Qualifications: Possess relevant qualifications in your area of expertise within the security industry.
- Proven experience in delivering and assessing vocational training programs in the security field.
- Familiarity with the compliance requirements and regulatory standards of a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse learner groups.
**Skills and experience**
- Must have minimum 3 years’ experience as Security Officer.
- Have current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning, including competency-based training and assessment.

**Ongoing employment, $40 per hour - $50 per hour including Super work available, various locations around Melbourne**
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Prepare for and deliver training and assessment services in accordance with RTO procedure, ensuring all ASQA requirements are met
- Maintain all assessment and training paperwork to RTO standards.
- Support students with their studies.
- Liaise closely with Coordinator and provide timely and accurate data and reports
- Regularly monitor and evaluate the delivery of training to ensure excellent support and service to students to maximise successful outcomes
- Maintain knowledge in relevant Training Packages and vocational industry
**Essential Skills**:
- Flexible teaching and learning strategies
- Ability to deliver quality training programs
- Capacity to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and PTA team members displaying sound problem-solving skills
**Essential Skills and Experience**
- TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment OR hold a diploma or higher level qualification in adult education
OR
- TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus the following units:either TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A, and
- either TAEASS502 or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B
AND
- Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and/or assessment provided
- Demonstrable vocational competency at least to the level being delivered and/or assessed - either by holding the competency to be delivered or demonstrating equivalence of competency
- Ongoing commitment to professional development
- 1-5 Years experience in an RTO environment dealing with international students
- Ability to understand different student needs and is passionate about supporting students
- Is a team player who is willing to impart knowledge and a willingness to learn and undertake training themselves
- Maintain Academic Compliance under AQF standards and RTO Standards 2015 at all times
- Demonstrated personal qualities of leadership, innovation, and motivation.
- Experience in Axcelerate (Student Management System) is desirable but not essential.
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain upon offer)
- Any other associated qualifications would be highly regarded
**The Role**
- Deliver and assess the above-mentioned qualifications;
- Preparation of training sessions including online student support (where relevant);
- Ensure students satisfaction benchmarks are met or exceeded;
- Monitoring student academic progress, intervention, and support of student’s progress, ensure student attendance is adequate and intervene when necessary;
- Conduct weekday/evening and/or weekend teaching sessions as required;
- Provide feedback on the course material, contribute to the development of teaching resources, support development of training & assessment strategies;
- Participate and contribute in moderation and validation processes.
