We drive the development and embedment of the product and pricing frameworks for Allianz’s General Insurance portfolios. The **Reporting Analyst **is ** **asked to provide quantitative analysis, management information and portfolio insights relating to portfolio performance in the context of Technical Excellence. **You'll be responsible for**: - Provide accurate and timely management information reporting across all products and provide portfolio insights to inform pricing, product and underwriting decisions. - Contribute to the enhancement and automation of a standard suite of portfolio reporting within Technical. - Ensure adherence to the enterprise data governance framework and produce analysis and reporting based on the consistent set of portfolio metrics. - Support the production of regular portfolio reporting and responses to ad hoc requests for data, information, reports and presentations. - Support the preparation of responses to regulators requests in an accurate and timely manner. - Identify opportunities to drive innovation and improvements in our processes, products and services **Important to your success**: - You will be a graduate with a mathematical degree (Maths, Commerce, Statistics, Actuarial Studies) with some experience working in the general insurance industry; - You will be skilled in Excel and SAS; further knowledge of data visualisation software (especially MicroStrategy) would be highly valued. - Demonstrate high attention to detail by completing tasks thoroughly and accurately. combined with the ability to quickly identify errors or inconsistencies within information and take corrective action. - Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions and report accordingly. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity. This is an entry-level role within Allianz and will allow you to access a range of training and coaching resources.
