Due to growth and ongoing delivery success with one of our major clients, Turner & Townsend's Infrastructure division in Brisbane requires an experienced **Program Schedule Lead** to join the team and work on a high profile, secured infrastructure project.
This position will lead the overall planning function for this project, whilst also playing a key role in overseeing the day to day management of this already strong and high performing team.
**Job Description**:
- Establish and embed an approach to Possession Management, Testing & Commissioning and Critical Resource Management within in the P6 environment.
- Partner with counterparts across other project controls functions to lead a collaborative process to the delivery of the project and its management processes.
- Accountable for the development of schedules, activity planning and associated logic capable of delivering the project objectives.
- Responsible for the competency of staff within the Planning Function.
- Leads and ensures the effective assessment of all changes and accurate representation of approved changes within the baseline.
- Oversees and provides timely and focused reporting to key stakeholders and project governance, including planning metrics and KPI’s.
**Qualifications**:
- Full working rights and be currently in Australia.
- Substantial experience (15+ years) in managing and motivating Planning teams on major infrastructure projects and programs - this will need to include 5 years in a rail environment.
- Demonstrable success in delivery of major projects as Lead Planner throughout the project lifecycle to commissioning and handover.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
- Educated to degree level, or equivalent training in engineering procurement construction delivery
- Proven people manager and team leader with excellent communications skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Good commercial and financial awareness including good experience of commercial contracting.
