**About the role**

The Sourcing Specialist (specialising in drilling and completion activities) is a key role to ensure goods and services strategically sourced meeting the needs of the business while ensuring optimal cost outcomes that minimise commercial risk.
- Please note this is a 12 month Contract role._

**More about the Role**
- Building and maintaining relationships with key business stakeholders to deliver tactical activity planning which provides relevant and timely sourcing activities.
- Leading end to end process for assigned sourcing activities, including providing accurate status reporting.
- Providing direction on Origin core processes including Origin Energy governance risk mitigation and quality requirements.
- Adjusting priorities to self-manage activities required based on Business requirements, including changing to meet business needs as required.
- Alignment with Origin’s Purpose, values and behaviours.
- Working autonomous and consistently to deliver sourcing activities resolving and problem solving within area of accountability.

**About you**
- Undergraduate degree in commerce, economics, accounting, law, engineering, business or similar relevant discipline
- Strong commitment to safety culture, with the ability to positively influence and promote continuous improvement in safety practices.
- Subsurface (Drilling, Completion and Workovers) knowledge and technical expertise.
- Subsurface (Drilling, Completions and Workovers) contractors relationship and experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster collaboration across internal teams and external contractors to deliver shared outcomes.
