This is a temporary, full-time position to commence from 21 October 2024 until 04 April 2025 unless otherwise determined. About the School Queensland Pathways State College is a state high school that specifically supports students that have disengaged from mainstream schools in grades 10 to 12 (students must be a minimum of 15 years of age). We cater for a diverse range of student needs and we are relentless in students achieving success, both at school and with transitions out of the college. About the Role As the Principal your responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to the following: - Lead the school community in developing and committing to a shared vision focused on quality learning outcomes for all students. - Improve the educational outcomes for all students. - Uphold values-based, ethical leadership. - Promote socially just practices in daily school life. - Set high standards for student and staff performance. - Engage in lifelong learning and professional development. - Nurture positive partnerships with students, teachers, community and stakeholders. - Be future-oriented and strategic. - Understand policies and legislation affecting the department. - Manage department resources to achieve goals.
