Government agency looking for a Supervisor located in Toowoomba.

**Your new company**

Our client is a business unit within the Queensland Government who work across a range of new build, maintenance, and capital works projects. Due to a peak in workload and a healthy project pipeline, they are looking to add a Supervisor to their department based in Toowoomba to assist with their various building projects.

**Your new role**

You will be responsible for supervising the delivery of construction, maintenance, and upgrade work. This will include the planning and delivery of projects through producing tender and quotation documentation and overseeing the delivery of the work. You will also be reviewing contractor quotations regarding maintenance responses and service maintenance.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in the role, you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of the of delivery of construction, maintenance, and upgrade work. You will therefore ideally come from a Trade background where you will have delivered such work, with a construction industry-related trade qualification. As part of your role will include tender and documentation, you will need a good understanding of Microsoft products to prepare documents and reports. A current Workplace Health & Safety General Safety Induction Card and a current Driver's Licence will also be required for site visits.

**What you'll get in return**

You will be offered an immediate start with an initial 3-month contracted casual role with the potential for extension, located in Toowoomba. You will be offered a full-time temporary position paying an OO6/1 rate + super. Please note that remote Travel is an integral activity for this role and will require overnight stays of up to 4 nights (or as negotiated) as well as road travel.
