**SSD Technician - Endoscopy Suite**

- Engage in** cleaning, sorting, assembling, packing & sterilising **equipment used in Endoscopy Suite
- **Flexibility to work across a seven-day rotating roster**, including morning, afternoon and night shifts, is critical for this role.

**The Opportunity**

Hollywood Private Hospital, with its recent expansion to 20 state of art theatres and Endoscopy Suite, in on the lookout for experienced and driven Sterile Supply Department (SSD) Technicians to join our rapidly growing team and to develop new skills with a leading Healthcare provider.
- Our theatres boast cutting edge technologies, including **robotic surgery** capabilities.
- Your responsibilities will encompass maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness, sorting, assembling, packaging and sterilising the equipment used in the Operating Theatres and ward areas.
- **You will assist with the validation and routine of decontamination and sterilisation processes** and also the maintenance of these records, as well as actively participate in quality and infection control audits, relevant to the department.

Furthermore, you will be in charge of preserving the cleanliness of all work surfaces and equipment, promptly reporting any damage, and handling equipment transportation before and after sterilisation.

- Proven experience as an SSD Technician and with competent in sterilisation
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong task orientation
- Commitment to continuous improvement and the achievement of excellence
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills.

**Remuneration**: On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $30.18 + casual loading + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

**Requirements**:
