APRA AMCOS is a member-owned music rights management organisation, positioned at the intersection of music, data and technology. We have more than 119,000 members who are songwriters, composers and music publishers. We license organisations to play, perform, copy or record our members’ music, and we distribute the royalties to our members.

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative National Manager to lead our high school mentoring program, SongMakers, for 10 months. **We are open for this role to be undertaken from any of our offices.
The National Manager will continue to successfully deliver the SongMakers Program on behalf of APRA AMCOS. The program promotes the value of songwriting for young creatives by modelling songwriting and production and providing scaffolding into the music industry.

Reporting into the Director, Membership & Stakeholder Engagement, you will lead and drive the National SongMakers program in conjunction with the National Coordinator.
- Manage the recruitment, training, and contracting of industry mentors (songwriters, producers, artists)
- Nurture and manage relationships with high school music teachers and their principals to ensure effective workshop delivery and follow-up
- Manage all marketing and communications for the SongMakers program, including working closely with APRA AMCOS’ in-house comms team and those of our external partners, for example, in federal, State, and local government
- Develop and collaborate on opportunities with APRA AMCOS’ other flagship programs
- Maintain and nurture industry relationships in both the broader music community and the education sector
- Assist in any proposals for future funding opportunitiesManage all program-related financial administration, staffing, and reporting for the national program

Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated success in event management from funding to delivery and acquittal
- A strong history of delivering live music programs across a broad range of artists and events
- Experience in partnering with vendors
- Experience in partnering with local government
- Experience in partnering in regional areas
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsPeople Leadership experience
