We have been making chocolate and confectionary for over 90 years. From humble beginnings selling sweets from a pushcart, and later to a small factory under the first arch of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Darrell Lea is sold in Australia, New Zealand, USA, UK and Canada.

We are currently seeking self-motivated and meticulous production workers to join our team in a permanent full-time role working in our Day/Afternoon Shift operations from 7:00 - 3:00pm or 3:30pm - midnight, Monday to Friday, at our **Rowville** factory.

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will come from a manufacturing background, with experience in machine operation, ideally gained within a food production or pharmaceutical environment. FMCG is in your DNA and as a result, you understand the challenges involved working in such a fast-paced environment.

**Accountabilities**
- Operation of a variety of purpose-built machines (full training provided)
- Completing manual handing duties - lifting, pulling, pushing, bending and reaching.
- Quality checks
- Get involved with safety, follow the safety rules, speak up and be mindful of risks.
- Maintaining a clean workspace.

**Skills Required**:

- Previous experience as a machine operator, ideally gained from food manufacturing environment
- Ability to understand, correctly interpret and follow instructions and procedures
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- To be able to successfully communicate written and verbally
- Work commitment, reliability and motivation.
- Experience working within FMCG

Previous chocolate/confectionery experience will be highly regarded.
