Our client, based in
**Mill Park**, is on the look out for a
**Production Team Leader for their afternoon shift**.

The position of Production Team Leader is responsible for ensuring that manufacturing of our products is carried out efficiently while maintaining the companies’ strict guidelines and integrity.

The Production Team Leader overseas the Production Operators and co-ordinates operation of machines, production, processing, packaging and sorting.

**Expected duties however not limited to**
- Ensuring people and resources are managed efficiently and effectively
- Ensuring team members follow production policies and procedures
- Ensuring compliance in data management is followed
- Leading from the front
- Preparation of line set ups
- Monitoring of all safety equipment and tools
- Root cause analysis

**People Management**
- Operator training
- Daily management and support for the team
- Time and attendance monitoring
- Ensuring performance expectations
- Providing product expertise within the team
- Provide support and input for continuous improvement.

**Skills and Knowledge**
- You must be able to lead by example
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Able to assess and priories tasks as required
- Good understanding of customer requirements with awareness of the impact of poor product to the consumer.

This role can develop into a permanent position for the right applicant who is looking for long term, stable and secure employment.
