**Your new role**

You will be responsible for the end to end Accounts Receivable process as part of a close-knit finance team. Working alongside an Assistant Account, AP Officer and Credit Officer, and reporting into the Senior Accountant, you will have excellent visibility across the business. You will be joining the organisation as an experienced AR Officer and will be involved in some new projects and a system migration. Your main duties will be as follows:

- Processing invoices and bank journals
- Processing direct debits, credit card and cheque payments
- Allocating payments and daily cash receipting
- Reconciliations using Excel
- Sending and raising invoices
- Matching and coding of incoming payments to ledger
- Investigating discrepancies proactively
- Collection on accounts as a backup
- Maintaining compliance and financial policies
- Proactively seeking to improve processes

**What you'll need to succeed**

You will have at least 2 years of experience in a full-function AR role and will have excellent time-management skills. You will have experience of using a large ERP software and any experience in system implementations and migrations would be highly desirable. You will have a customer-centric focus with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Having a reasonable aptitude with Excel and reconciliations skills will ensure that you can hit the ground running.
