**Your new company**
***This busy manufacturing company in South West Sydney is looking for a Permanent Part Time Accounts Officer to join their growing team.
**Your New Role**
Accounts Payable
- Issue and update purchase orders
- Checking of invoices against delivery dockets
- Accurate coding of supplier invoices to General Ledger & maintaining supplier details
- Understand GST and settlement discounts
- Raising of cheques/EFT to ensure prompt payments to suppliers
- Monitoring of Creditor Ageing & release of cheques in conjunction with accountant
- Reconciliation of supplier accounts
- Keeping up payroll record, reporting/payment of staff superannuation contributions
Accounts Receivable and Credit Control
- Monitor credit limits on individual accounts
- Review debtors ageing and outstanding debts
- Liaise with customers regarding payments, accounts statements, credit noted etc
- Calculate and reconcile rebates payable & settlement discounts
**What you’ll need to succeed**
- Accounts Payable and Receivable experience
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
- Oracle experience desirable but not essential
- Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal
