Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Audit Officer on non-ongoing contract for 6 month.
**Position Overview**
- Assist with the development and maintenance of an internal Audit Database to form a whole of ABF picture of what audits and investigations are taking place
- Contribute to the coordination role on behalf of the ABF for Australian National Audit Office audits
- Engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including the ANAO and ABF Senior Executives
- Analyse internal and external audit activities to identify areas of improvement within the ABF
- Work closely with the Risk and Assurance streams to identify audits that could form themes for future compliance assurance checks
- Prepare a wide range of complex and/or sensitive written communication material for the Section with a high level of proficiency, including operational reports, operating guidelines and executive briefs
- Analyse the ABF's line one assurance activities with a goal to assist in ensuring that all relevant documentation is in place.
**Required Skills (all positions)**
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Sound organisational, negotiation and coordination skills
- Ability to produce documents that require mínimal or no revision before finalisation
- Understanding of ABF operations and quality assurance processes, or the ability to acquire the knowledge
