- ** PLEASE NOTE THE ROTATING ROSTER: PLENTY OF VALUABLE FAMILY TIME OFF WORK**

**(2 Day Shift Followed by 2 Night Shifts - Then 4 days off, do this 7 times -28-day cycle then 3 Weeks off. Repeat the 28-day cycle then 2 weeks off) Repeat.**
- ** $33.50 PER HOUR FLAT RATE + SUPERANNUATION ( WAGE WILL INCREASE AS YOU GAIN SPECIFIC MACHINES SKILLS IN ALIGNMENT WITH EBA)**

**YOUR ROLE**

In this role, you will start out by working on paper rolling machines where you will operate machines to take large paper rolls and wind them to smaller ones for sale. This position requires you to operate and monitor the machine, along with troubleshooting any issues and doing quality checks of the paper itself: General Labouring and site duties including lifting and stacking.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Setting up the machinery for operation and adjusting settings to maintain the process.
- Inspecting, testing, and maintaining machinery, equipment in process and packaging areas
- Analyse and troubleshoot plant operations.
- Product quality Inspections.
- Performing general plant maintenance as required
- Manual Handling and General Labour Duties
- Develop and maintain positive work relationships within the team

**KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS**
- At least 4 years experience in a Machine Operating role, preferably related to manufacturing or Similar Trade Qualification
- Ability to analyse and troubleshoot plant operations.
- High level of attention to detail, with strong mechanical and technical aptitude with a sound understanding of working in a challenging manufacturing environment.
- Exceptional diagnostic and fault-finding experience
- Experience operating fixed plant machines.
- Ability to operate both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in high-pressure situations and meet deadlines
- Strong adherence to and understanding of WH&S in the workplace.
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of WHS regulations/procedures
- Forklift Licence (Desirable)
