**The Company**

Designer staircases is one of Sydney’s leading staircase companies renowned for its cutting edge, custom-made designs across a wide range of styles utilizing the world’s latest technologies in design software and manufacturing know how.

**The Role**

You will be trained in the art of manufacturing and installation of staircases, handrails and balustrades by qualified and professional tradespersons who are passionate about the quality of their work and the culture and work ethic of the company. Your duties will include:

- Learning, assisting and working with tradespeople performing their day to day responsibilities both in-house and on site.
- Reading and interpretation of shop floor drawings and specifications.
- Learning to operate state of the art equipment including CNC machines (both 3 and 5 -axis).
- Prepping, measuring, cutting and assembly of timber components used in staircases, handrails and balustrades.
- On site installation of various staircase types and designs.

**Essential Requirements**
- Keen and committed with a strong desire to learn and develop own skills and capabilities.
- Self-driven with strong work ethic and can-do attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team with good communication and listening skills.
- White card.
- Driver’s license with reliable means to get to and from work.
