**The company**

For the past 10 years this company has been a main distributor for very unique concrete equipment, while also being a user of the equipment in their construction of solar farms.

Growing from $5mil to $25 million in revenue over the past 5 years, they are now looking at expanding their team as the demand for their products and services grows significantly.

**The role**

Given how unique and intricate these machines are, this role will start with a lot of training and getting to know the field, including onsite visits.

They will invest into your growth, You’ll be guided through all relevant operations of the business to ensure you progress and become an expert.

While this role will emerge into a Regional Sales Manager role where you’ll be dominating the growth of the business for the eastern Australian region, we are looking for someone with the ambition to start with the small tasks, learn the ropes and grow professionally into the more senior sales position.

**What this will look like**
- Assist the senior sales staff in the sales process, including equipment rental
- Communicate with internal marketing team to provide customer feedback and assist in their marketing plans
- Answer inbound calls or contact customer inquiries to discuss their requirements and provide quotes
- Provide ongoing technical operator and product support to existing customers
- Technical/mechanical minded

As you grow in this role you will be given more responsibilities, including building strong relationships with customers to ensure their repeat business and eventually the task of hunting and developing all new business in the region.

**Who we’re looking for**

However people without previous sales experience could also be considered if you’ve got natural sales abilities and have the right experience with equipment/concrete.

**People with**:

- (Ideally) 1+ year sales experience in construction or similar industries
- Practical understanding of concrete works | Or experience in the concrete industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for the construction industry
- Willingness to travel nationally as required
