**We're Hiring: Area Manager - Cleaning Services (Education Sector)**

Are you an experienced leader in the cleaning industry with a passion for maintaining high standards in educational environments? We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented **Area Manager** to oversee cleaning operations across multiple school sites.

**About the Role**:
As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily cleaning operations across a portfolio of schools. You will ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards, lead and support cleaning teams, and build strong relationships with school staff and stakeholders. A current **Working With Children (WWC) Check** is essential for this role.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise, support, and lead cleaning teams across assigned school sites
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure service quality, safety, and client satisfaction
- Recruit, train, and onboard cleaning staff
- Ensure compliance with company policies and cleaning industry standards
- Build strong working relationships with school administrators and staff
- Monitor supplies, rosters, and timekeeping systems
- Address client feedback and resolve operational issues promptly

**About You**:

- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within the cleaning industry
- Proven leadership and people management skills
- Strong understanding of cleaning procedures, health and safety standards
- Excellent communication and time-management abilities
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with scheduling software and reporting systems
- Current **Working With Children (WWC) Check** (essential)
- Driver’s license and reliable vehicle (required for travel between sites)

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Perth WA 6000: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (required)
- Police Check (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
