We are expanding Due to a growing demand for support in Home & Community Care services our team is growing in the Logan area.

We have exciting opportunities available for people who know that caring for vulnerable people in our communities is not only a necessity but also highly rewarding.

Key Responsibilities
- ** Personal Care**: Assist with daily tasks such as grooming, bathing, dressing, and hygiene to ensure clients' comfort, dignity, and well-being. (Cert III in Individual Support required)
- ** Household Assistance**: Support clients with cleaning, meal preparation, and general household tasks to maintain a safe and tidy living environment.
- ** Transportation**: Drive clients to medical appointments, shopping, and social activities, ensuring they can access essential services and maintain their independence.
- ** Social Engagement**: Foster social interaction and provide companionship, offering emotional support to improve clients' quality of life and overall well-being.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Essential Skills
- Effective communication skills
- Demonstrate an empathic and caring approach
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Access to own fully maintained and insured vehicle
- Ability to plan and organise timely completion of tasks.
- Competent to use a smartphone and/or tablet or willingness to learn
- Physical fitness including ability to undertake manual handling, carrying, standing and sitting for long periods of time

**Qualifications**:

- Qualified Home Care Employee - Certificate III Individual Support or equivalent
- Unqualified Home Care Employee positions are available for those currently studying, or those who are passionate about supporting the elderly with their domestic household duties.
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR or willingness to obtain
- Current unrestricted Australian Driver’s License
