**About The Role**:
As the Manager Case Work, you will provide leadership and operational oversight to a team of Case Workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, child-centred services in line with NSW legislation and care standards. You’ll play a key role in staff supervision, case planning, maintaining compliance, and driving positive outcomes for children and young people.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide leadership and supervision to Case Workers
- Ensure case files meet Out-of-Home Care (OOHC) standards
- Oversee and lead case planning, reviews, and allocation
- Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure services reflect Challenge’s values and legislative requirements
- Contribute to quality assurance, policy development, and training
**About You**:
**Essential**:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Services (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Health, Disability)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in child protection, OOHC, disability or health services
- At least 2 years of management or leadership experience
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and mediation skills
- High level of professionalism and understanding of confidentiality
- Demonstrated ability to create and oversee effective case plans
- Knowledge of relevant NSW child protection legislation and care standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
**Desirable**:
- Familiarity with the NSW Child Safe Standards and the Permanency Support Program
- Experience in developing local networks and community partnerships
