We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated OOSH Support Manager to join our team on a permanent full-time basis based in our State Office at Sydney Olympic Park. You will require strong leadership and management experience, with extensive knowledge in the Children Services sector. This position will lead and support PCYC OOSH care services and its coordinators, ensuring all operations are compliant and responsive to the needs of children, families and their community.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This is a full-time support and leadership role, reporting to the State Children’s Services Manager. In this role, you will:

- Provide day-to-day support and direction for the operation of several OOSH care services across metro and regional areas in NSW.
- Overseeing risk management activities at services in consultation with Service Coordinators.
- Liaising closely and regularly with the State Children Services Manager on matters of service compliance and continuous improvement.
- Provide financial mentoring and regular budget reporting including but not limited to revenue, expenses, and opportunities.
- Analyse the cluster’s financial performance on a regular basis and identify areas for corrective action.
- Providing guidance and mentorship to Service Coordinators on child protection regulations and reporting requirements.
- Ensuring PCYC policies and procedures in use at services are compliant with regulations and legislation and reporting issues and feedback to the State Children Service Manager.

Established in 1937, PCYC NSW is a life changing charity collaborating in partnership with communities and NSW Police to empower youth, get kids active in life and reduce and prevent youth crime. We have sixty-six clubs and eighteen OOSH services across NSW, with a vision for significant growth.

Our aim is to engage with and positively influence over 70,000 youth members through mainstream sport, recreation, education, leadership, and cultural programs. We also work with at-risk youth to break the cycle of disadvantage through crime prevention, vocational education, youth capacity building and social responsibility programs to enhance the life direction and outcomes of over 7,500 youth per year.

**ABOUT YOU**

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or Equivalent) **-**Essential*
- Valid Working with Children Check and Current National Police Check **-**Essential*
- Current First Aid and CPR in an Education and Care Setting - **Essential**:

- Approved ACECQA Anaphylaxis and Emergency Asthma Management training - **Essential**:

- Experience in leading compliance, investigations and quality assurance programs including strong knowledge in auditing requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills, with experience writing and submitting tenders.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the NQS, NQF standards, Child Protection legislation, Work Health, and Safety legislation.
