**About the role**:
The Careers Specialist | Transition to Tertiary Education position based at our Corio Campus, commencing in Term 1 2025, provides information, guidance and support to students and their families to ensure a smooth transition from school to tertiary education.

The role is an active member of the teaching staff and the School community. Teachers at Corio choose to join a largely residential community and are thus involved in supporting students in a host of different ways. This provides for an opportunity to develop a very full relationship with students and thus a chance to play a significant role in their overall education - academic, physical, spiritual and moral - and in doing so give them the opportunity to recognise and develop their talents.

Key areas of this position include:

- Careers Counselling
- Subject Selection Support
- General Careers Education Programme

**About you**:
Applicants must possess:

- Registration as a Teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
- A passion for and previous experience in similar roles
- Well-developed IT and administration skills
- Exceptional relationship management skills
- Appropriate post graduate careers qualifications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Personal alignment to our School’s Strategic Framework and Strategic Imperatives
