**Disability Support Worker Required With Personal Car.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Domestic Assistance
- In-home Care Services: daily tasks, personal hygiene, dressing etc.
- Mealtime Management
- Medication Assistance

**Educational Requirement**: Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Disability Care.

**Documents and other Requirements**:

- Working With Children's Check
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Current Driver’ License & your own car
- Covid 19 Vaccination Certificate
- Police Check
- NDISWC

**What will you be doing in this role**
You specialise in providing care, companionship, and emotional support to people, helping to support their independence and improve their quality of life.
Providing daily living assistance such as showering, personal hygiene, mealtimes, and general movement.
Helping with medication and simple wound dressings
Assisting residents with community-based recreational time and social activities.

**Who are we looking for**
Ideally, you will have a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or Individual Support, or some equivalent qualifications. If you are not currently qualified but would like to be, we can help you get there.
You'll have previous experience in aged or community care, or a strong desire to pursue in this field if you're studying or recently qualified.
You'll be adaptable, empathic, and resourceful, and you'll be able to embody Care Aust's core values of compassion, respect, creativity, and integrity.

The client needs assistance with daily tasks, personal care and community access. Support worker is required to provide Domestic Assistance for this shift.

Service Location is at **St Clair, NSW.**

**P.S. Weekly hours will increase after the first couple of weeks. There will be more short duration services at different locations other than this service. We will expect the Support Worker to also provide service for short duration shifts.**

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
