Conveniently located in the southern suburbs of Brisbane, we are searching for a Night Manager for our newly re-branded Mercure Brisbane Garden City.

Be part of the excitement of our Pioneering Team, as we enter into an exhilarating phase in changing the identity of this wonderful Hotel.

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Night Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Hotel's overnight operation, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction as well as the safety and security of the property.

What will you be doing?
- Effectively manage the daily reconciliation of the Hotel’s trading, checking and preparing reports and statistical information in accordance with service standards and auditing procedures during the night shift.
- Represent the General Manager in their absence, holding responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of the Hotel's overnight operation, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction as well as the safety and security of the property.
- Collate paperwork for departures, including credit card and company charges to be forwarded to Finance department.
- Ensure that reservations details for in house-guests are recorded correctly, i.e. room rates, dates of stay, authority to charge.
- Attend to all incoming calls in a professional and polite manner, constantly striving to provide Total Customer Satisfaction.
- Ensure strict procedures are followed for all cash/credit, accounting and banking procedures, issue of keys and guest confidentiality.

Your Skills and experience include:

- Relevant Night Audit experience in the hotel industry.
- Guest obsessed focus with the ability to flex in a fast paced and ever changing environment
- Ability to navigate through change and provide quick thinking solutions should problems arise
- Leadership qualities, with the ability to extend yourself to assisting your colleagues where needed
- Clear and confident communication skills - both written and verbal
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office and Opera.

**Salary**: $63,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
