**About the role**:
As the Town Planning Manager you will deliver store design, planning and site documentation outcomes in support of the VER network development pipeline, which comprise of capital works program and initiatives, asset integrity upgrades, major redevelopments along with minor refurbishments across a large and expansive portfolio of forecourt, fuel and convenience shop projects.

You’ll also:

- Develop town planning framework that supports rollout of projects at scale
- Provide planning advice to support business and design decisions and prioritization of project activity
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver Town Planning outcomes in support of the project development pipeline for VER
- Co-ordination of reports and studies as required in support of planning processes
- Develop relationships with approval and referral authorities in support of achieving desired outcomes
- Mentor Store Planners and Designers within the VER business to build understanding of Planning considerations

**About you and your skills**:
We are looking for a knowledgeable Town Planner with extensive experience in delivering projects in fast paced growth environments under a structured framework.

You’ll also have:

- Minimum 5 years of Town Planning experience of Commercial developments
- Tertiary qualification in relevant area
- Experience in at least one of retail, QSR or Service Station developments
