**Security Technician** Security 1 currently services alarm clients and patrol clients across Australia from our centrally located head office in the ACT and our QLD office. Together with a _"hands on"_ management team, dedicated, trained staff and the integration of the latest security products; sourced from Australia and around the world, we offer security solutions suiting all levels of security requirements. At Security 1 we pride ourselves in offering a complete range of security products. We provide a balanced combination of electronic and physical security and the peace of mind of our manpower unit patrolling, responding and reporting as required. Our experienced staff design, implement and install security solutions customized to client specific needs from our extensive range of products and services. We are currently seeking Security Technicians who are disciplined, have excellent customer service skills, and strong attention to detail. The security technician will be responsible for the Installation, commissioning and service of various security technology, incorporating alarm, CCTV and access control systems. - A commitment to providing exceptional customer service - Flexibility in work hours and availability, including night shifts and weekends - Outstanding (verbal and written) English language and communication skills - Ability to work well in a team environment and independently. **It is essential that the applicants must have (or have the ability to obtain)**: - ACT security licence - Relevant qualification in Technical Security - Australian Citizenship / Australian Birth Certificate - Unrestricted Driver’s Licence - Cabling licence - Security clearances (as/when required) **Experience in the below would be advantageous**: - Technical Security Installations and programming - Trade skills, such as the use of hand tools and power tools etc - Familiarity with computers and data networks - National police check (within last 12 months or ability to obtain) - The Ability to learn new concepts and quickly adapt to them ensuring customer satisfaction with both product and service - The ability to work unsupervised and possess a high level of problem-solving skills **_Mandatory:_** - Resume - Relevant Technical Security Qualifications - ACT Security Licence - Drivers Licence Preferred / Willing to obtain: - National Police Check - NSW Security Licence - Asbestos Awareness Card - White Card - Cablers Licence - Note: Only Shortlisted Applicants will be contacted_ **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Professional development assistance Schedule: - 8 hour shift Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay Work Authorisation: - Australia (required) Work Location: In person
