**About the facility**
- Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.

**About the role**
- The Clinical Midwifery Consultant (Quality and Regional) will work with stakeholders across the region to improve quality and safety in maternity care provision. The CMC will run the Regional M & M. The CMC will work collaboratively with interested stakeholders in the region on quality improvement projects. The CMC will also work on innovative models of midwifery care that evolve our midwifery workforce and provide improved care for families in the region. One of the roles of the CMC will be to look at the Endorsed Midwifery role in a public health setting. The CMC will be a midwifery leader in Barwon's participation in quality improvement collaboratives or projects around KPIs. This is an exciting role involving being at the forefront of quality improvement and midwifery professional practise.
