**Hornsby NSW** is currently looking for a

**forklift operator Dissolved Air Flotation Operator (DAF Operator)**
for their large state of the art poultry facility in

**Mount Kuring-Gai NSW.**

**Full-time hours 3pm-11pm**

**$34.48 P/H**

Our client is a family-owned business that provides the freshest, top-quality poultry products Australia wide.

The position of DAF Operator - is primarily responsible for monitoring of the Dissolved Flotation System and its ancillary equipment which treats the wastewater generated by the Plant, including carrying out repairs and maintenance to the plant machinery in conjunction with maintenance staff, and ensuring that all work they perform is carried out in a safe manner following Baiada standards and systems.

The position is mainly focused around ensuring data is entered correctly and monitoring of the DAF system is carried out, as well as using a forklift to remove and replace waste bins and keeping the environment clear of any environmental hazards and preventing any contaminated water from leaving the site.

**To be considered for this role you must**:

- Experience in troubleshooting preventative maintenance
- Have experience in an FMCG environment (not essential)
- Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment which includes working with raw product.
- Have initiative and motivation to follow through with tasks on your own but also be able to follow clear instruction.
- Reliable with an excellent work ethic and be able to work as part of a team.
- Be physically fit to undertake repetitive work.
- Forklift license essential.
