Food Services Assistant - Casual

We are looking for friendly, hardworking individuals with great customer service skills to join our team. Working within a busy hospital Catering department, in team and individual settings, duties will include meal service, tray set and service delivery, food preparation, cleaning and dishwashing.

The Melbourne Clinic is the largest and longest established private mental health hospital in Australia. The Clinic offers a variety of inpatient and outpatient programs that are tailored to meet the needs of people with a range of mental health conditions. Programs include Eating Disorder Program, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Program, Older Persons Program, Addiction Services Program and Mental Health Intensive Care Unit. Community Outreach Program and a wide range of Day Programs are also available to support people in the community.

**As a Food Services Assistant your responsibilities will include**:

- To fulfill the role of Food Services Assistant in accordance with the performance indicators outlined in the Position description.
- Work within the team environment in the Catering Department.
- To provide an excellent standard of customer service that meets the needs of all customers at this facility.
- **Selection Criteria**:

- Experience in Hospital / Food Service industry
- Current Food Handlers Certificate
- Food Preparation skills
- Understanding of Food Safety and Hygiene procedures and standards
- Good time management skills
- Flexibility / Ability to work early/ late shifts and **weekend work**:

- Available for on-call shifts
