T**he Position**
Engaging in Advanced General Medicine Training at this institution involves fulfilling diverse roles aimed at meeting the training standards set by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. This encompasses terms in general medicine, as well as specialised rotations in areas such as infectious diseases/hospital in the home and acute geriatrics. Additionally, AT's may experience rotations at the hospital's two sites during an acute medicine term. Those inclined towards dual training in geriatrics can opt for a streamlined program designed to fulfill the essential criteria for both training programs.

Located in the southeastern part of the country, approximately 280 kilometers southwest of Sydney and 660 kilometers northeast of Melbourne. **The Facility**
Accredited for 2 years of advanced training by the Specialist Advisory Committee for General Medicine, this cutting-edge $77 million redevelopment has 265-beds, and is a multi-disciplinary facility which commenced operations in 2017. It offers state-of-the-art amenities to cater to the needs of the communities surrounding. This facility, which operates as a public/private collaboration, serves a diverse population, attending to the healthcare needs of over 11,000 individuals.

**Mandatory Requirements**
- Registered or be eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- The successful applicant will need to be available for weekend and after-hours work.
- Computer literacy skills are required for Digital Health Record
- MBBS medical degree or equivalent.
- Success in FRACP part 1 (Written and Clinical) Examinations.
- Current Basic Life Support skills and Advanced Life Support skills.
