**About the Role**

Linacre Private Hospital is seeking the talents of an experienced Sterilisation Manager / Team Leader who can provide leadership support to our sterilisation team on a permanent full-time basis.

Working with the perioperative management team and executives, you will provide an efficient service to the perioperative department and greater hospital to ensure the smooth running of the operating lists.

In this role you will ensure high standards are maintained whilst adhering to all required legislation and guidelines. You will need to possess an in-depth knowledge of the AS/NZS 4187 and how these regulations impact the sterilisation process and procedures.

- You will also demonstrate: _
- Minimum 5 years’ CSSD experience
- Certificate III in Sterilisation Services
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant infection control standards and sterilisation guidelines including AS/NZS 4187
- Previous experience within a management or leadership role is highly desirable
- Ability to work in a busy environment and lead a team through changing priorities and work demands
- Ability to effectively plan and manage the department with a key focus on financial, human and capital resources
- Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- IT Skills including the use of computerized reporting systems

Linacre Private Hospital is a 64 bed hospital, with 5 operating theatres, day ward and surgical ward, including 4 bed HDU.

**Requirements**:

- _Must provide a _**National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
