**Nurse Unit Manager for CSSD**

**About us**:
CSSD is a Perioperative Unit with multiple workflows and provides services to 4 hospitals on the precinct. With an ever changing workload each day the NUM / Manager oversees the quality and standard of work in this area and lead the team. Having a sound knowledge of instrument cleaning processes, AS4187 and Standard 3 the CSSD NUM / Manager must ensure a quality service is provided. The NUM in this role also governs and holds the Standard 3 Reusable Medical device portfolio for RMH in collaboration with the Infection Prevention Team and the Perioperative Service Manager.

**About you**:

- Registered Nurse, Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or for non-nurses management/business qualification or proven track record in managing a department.
- Extensive clinical experience and expertise in a relevant clinical/service field
- Strong leadership skills with a track record in managing complex teams
- Ability to implement change and support a culture within the Melbourne Way
- Excellent communication skills and a customer service approach
- Proficient computer skills including competency in Windows Word, Excel and Outlook
- Post Graduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing including Anaesthetics and Recovery
