**Job Description**:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Research Fellow (Grade 2) position that will coordinate and contribute to a clinical trial to investigate the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of exercise intervention for improving quality of life outcomes in people with severe mental illness (SMI).

Within this role you will work within the Centre for Mental Health in the _Translational Mental Health and Codesign Research_ group led by Professor Amanda Wheeler. The project is funded by a nationally competitive grant through the Medical Research Futures Fund (administered by the National Health and Medical Research Council).

The Research Fellow will plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate projects and programs of work. You will be accountable for day-to-day operations including resourcing, scheduling, prioritisation, task coordination, reporting and delivering objectives and deliverables within agreed time frames and budgets.

**What we can offer**

This is a fixed term (December 2026), part-time position (0.6FTE) and can be primarily based at the Griffith University Nathan campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.

The full time equivalent base salary will be Academic Level RF2 range $105,144 - $124,862 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $123,018 - $146,088 per annum.

**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role, you will hold a PhD or equivalent qualifications/work experience in a relevant field. In addition to this, you will have demonstrated but not limited to:

- High level of verbal and written communication
- Interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Experience working with health services or organisations
