**The Company**

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) specialises in providing high quality engineering design and construction services to the mining and mineral processing industries. Our services cover all aspects of the project life cycle from the initial evaluation and study phase through to design, constructions, commissioning and operational support.

**The Role**

As the site based **Cost Controller (site based) **reporting directly to the **Project Manager** and working closely with the Quantity Surveyor, you will be tasked with preparing forecasts, cost trend reports, and monitoring of costs and commitments against budget and forecasts across all stages of the project life cycle to ensure client requirements are met for a variety of stakeholders.

You would work on a 2x1 roster on our West Musgrave Project located 1300 kms north east of Perth.

**The Cost Controller is responsible for**:

- Validation of invoices, progress claims and variations from contractors
- Time sheeting, cost coding and creating cost codes where required
- Reconciling budget reports
- Assisting with preparation of project invoices and variations
- Develop and maintain relationship with key stakeholders to provide accurate, timely reporting

**What you’ll bring to the team**:

- Tertiary qualifications in construction, engineering, finance or equivalent
- Experience in project controls, project accounting, cost controls and project scheduling on large mining construction projects
- Efficiency to deliver under challenging circumstance
- Full and Unrestricted Australian working rights - no sponsorship opportunities
- Commitment and flexibility to work on our project at West Musgrave on a 2x1 roster from Perth
