**About the Centre**

Our $27.3 million redevelopment has transformed us into a premier destination for health, fitness, and fun. Our state-of-the-art 24-hour gym and dynamic spinning studio cater to fitness enthusiasts of all levels, while our versatile multipurpose and group fitness room offer diverse exercise options.

Step into our seasonal outdoor aquatic area, featuring a heated 50-meter pool, a 20-meter learn-to-swim pool, two waterslides, and a children's waterplay pool with exciting features.

We're open year-round, and from 1st October to 30th April, our heated outdoor pools ensure a comfortable swimming experience.

**About the role**

As a Swim Teacher at Oak Park Sports and Aquatic Centre you will be developing and delivering lesson plans that promote swimming skill building in school aged children, combining stroke development with water safety and enhancing the overall confidence and ability of your students.
- Structure and design lessons with appropriate activities that challenge and develop your students swimming and water safety ability
- Recommend students for level progression as appropriate
- Teach and model effective problem solving skills and conflict resolution skills

**About you**

You will be passionate about inspiring and developing water safety and swimming skills in children and young people. Experience in other teaching or coaching roles is a bonus but not necessary. Personal attributes such as patience, respect, and enthusiasm will take you far as a Swim Teacher

**Essential Qualifications**
- First Aid and CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain before commencing - funding may be available)
- Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety qualification (or willingness to obtain before commencing - funding may be available)
