**About the Role**
The purpose of the Executive Officer is to support the College in the research, development, dissemination, implementation and evaluation of education policies that underpin the RACP’s educational programs and to support the College’s accreditation reporting processes as directed by the Australian Medical Council and the Medical Council of New Zealand. The role also provides some general support to the Education Policy, Research and Evaluation team.
Key accountabilities include:
- Research, consult, write and review policies and policy approval briefs on a range of issues to support the development, implementation and evaluation of education policy in Australia and New Zealand.
- Work closely with business units to develop and implement policies according to the newly developed Education policy development process including obtaining endorsement from relevant sectors of the College and communicating ratified policies to a range of stakeholders
- Provide timely education policy advice and organisational support to the RACP Divisions, Faculties and Chapters and other stakeholders including the presentation of policies at College Education Committee meetings
- Maintain an education policy development schedule and remain well informed on current, evidence-based literature relevant to education areas
- Provide high level administrative support on education projects including the preparation of submissions, reports, correspondence, presentations and other documents as required.
**This is a fixed term contract until June 2026. The role is part time, working 30 hours per week and we are flexible on the days worked.**

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or demonstrated equivalent experience, knowledge and skills
- Well-developed written skills including the ability to prepare complex reports and submissions
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and independently
- Excellent attention to detail
- IT Capabilities: Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and video/teleconferencing platforms
