MRAEL are currently seeking a highly motivated **Apprentice Fitter & Turner **to join the team at H-E Parts.

**The Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, your main responsibilities will include:

- Observe safety policies and procedures, and contribute to good housekeeping of facilities,
- Assist tradespeople with machining / inspection procedures of selected components within standard timelines,
- Assist to calculate dimensions and tolerances, using knowledge of mathematics appropriate tools and equipment,
- Check for quality on all parts. If deficiencies are found immediately report them to supervisor.

**About You**:
To be considered for this position you will ideally have:

- High level of mechanical aptitude,
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures, both written and verbal,
- Ability to operate equipment and systems,
- Effective written and verbal communication skills,
- Ability to read, comprehend and write reports.
