We are looking for people-focused individuals to join our close-knit team at our boutique retirement village situated 500m from beautiful Mona Vale Beach.

**About the role**

Our Personal Care Assistants provide care to our residents within the Village and in the Community when required, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.

Activities will include but are not limited to:

- In home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry & ironing
- Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
- Supporting with community based recreational and social activities
- Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments
- Communicating with Village Manager and Case Manager regarding any concerns or deterioration of a resident, including reporting of incidents

Personal Care Assistants at Seabeach Living are provided with the opportunity to continually develop your skills and knowledge, and grow with the business. As a Casual position, we have a range of shifts available.

**About you**:

- Certificate lll in Aged Care or Individual Support
- At least 6 months of experience working as a Personal Care Worker
- Experience working with older people who have chronic health conditions, including dementia
- Ability to work both unsupervised and as part of a team
- Flexible and positive attitude to evolving work environments to suit resident needs
- Good people skills and empathy for older people living in care and retirement village setting
- Flexibility with working hours
- Physical fitness, as the position can be physically demanding with assisting residents to move around their homes
