**Job Description**:
The position primarily supports the Revenue team’s account reconciliations and compliance requirements of the University. The position is responsible for the reconciliation of all financial aspects of the Client Management Systems to the University General Ledger, reconciliation of the University’s primary bank account and cash-flow administration.

The key duties of the role include:

- Identify and investigate financial and system variances, and developing financial procedures
- maintain and monitor effective control framework for cash inflows, and ensuring processes are developed to identify and mitigate significant risks.
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations including the University’s primary bank account and sub-systems
- Assist with daily cash-flow administration and completion of Year End reconciliations/accruals
- Investigate unresolved client queries, payment file settlement errors, unclaimed and unmatched transactions
- Prepare periodic financial reports
- This is a continuing, full-time position and can be primarily based at the Griffith University Gold Coast or Nathan campus._

**Qualifications**:
You will have:

- Hold a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of qualifications and/or experience.
- High-level organisational skills including the ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and balance competing tasks
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Demonstrated analytical skills, with the ability to synthesise financial and non-financial information

Additional Information
**Salary range**
HEW Level 6 Base Salary $81,226 - $86,640 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total package is in the range $95,035 - $101,368 per annum.
